The Social Network is a 2010 film about how the social networking website Facebook was created starring Jesse Eisenberg as Mark Zuckerberg, Justin Timberlake as Sean Parker (the founder of napster), Andrew Garfield as Eduardo Saverin and Armie Hammer as the Winklevoss Twins. Based on a nonfiction book The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding of Facebook: A Tale of Sex, Money, Genius and Betrayal written by Ben Mezrich in 2009 and screenplay written by Aaron Sorkin and directed by David Fincher. It gain rave reviews upon its released on October 1, 2010 in the US alone. The film is distributed by Columbia Pictures and was released on October 1, 2010, in the United States to critical acclaim.
