Super Easy Lasagne Recipe - An Alternative Pasta Treat for Everyone

I can still remember when I first tasted my very first Lasagna made by my Aunt who was very fond of cooking noodles, pasta and all kinds of Asian food. I must say she is a fabulous cook that I can never get enough of her dishes in one serving.

I derived this original Lasagna recipe from my Aunt's recipe clippings, of course with her acknowledgments.

A lot of people are kinda hesitant to make their own Lasagna recipe due to its complicated Italian origin. But why won't you give it a try just like my Aunt did. I'm sure it would taste much even better.

Lasagne also known as in the US spelling Lasagna, is a wide and flat type of pasta and possibly one of the oldest shapes. The word also refers to a dish made with this type of pasta. As with most other types of pasta, the word is a plural form, lasagne meaning more than one piece of lasagna ribbon.

Traditionally, the dough was prepared in Southern Italy with semolina and water and in the northern regions, where semolina was not available, with flour and eggs. Nowadays in Italy, since the only type of wheat allowed for pasta is durum wheat, lasagne are made of semolina (from durum wheat) and eggs.
