Updated on January 18, 2013

Need You Now Song Lyrics, MP3 & Video from Lady Antebellum 2nd Studio Album Need You Now

Need You Now is a country pop track chosen as the lead-off single of Lady Antebellum's 2nd studio album Need You Now, of the same title. It was co-written by Lady Antebellum and Josh Kear and produced along with Paul Worley, released in January 26, 2010. It spent five weeks in Billboard Hot Country Songs chart in the late 2009. It won four Grammy Awards in 2011, including for Song of the Year and Record of the Year, the first country song to win both honors since 2007, and only the second ever. As of April 2011, it replaced Taylor Swift's Love Story as the best-selling country song of all time in the USA.

Need You Now Lyrics & Video - from Lady Antebellum's 2nd Studio of the Same Title

Picture perfect memories

Scattered all around the floor

Reaching for the phone cause,

I can't fight it anymore .

And I wonder if I ever cross your mind

For me it happens all the time

It's a quarter after one

I'm all alone and I need you now

Said I wouldn't call but I lost all control

And I need you now.

And I don't how I can do without,

I just need you now.

Another shot of whiskey,

Can't stop looking at the door

Wishing you'd come sweeping in the way you did before.

And I wonder if I ever cross your mind

For me it happens all the time

It's a quarter after one

I'm all alone and I need you now

Said I wouldn't call but I lost all control

And I need you now.

And I don't how I can do without,

I just need you now.

(Whoa, whoa)

Yes, I'd rather hurt than feel nothing at all.

It's a quarter after one

I'm all alone and I need you now

Said I wouldn't call but I lost all control

And I need you now.

And I don't how I can do without,

I just need you now.

I just need you now.

Oh baby I need you now.

Who are the members of Lady Antebellum?

A Brief Biography

Lady Antebellum is a country music group formed in Nashville, Tennessee in 2006. The trio is composed of Charles Kelley (lead and background vocals), Dave Haywood (background vocals, guitar, piano, mandolin) and Hillary Scott (lead and background vocals). The group made its debut in 2007 as guest vocalists on Jim Brickman's single "Never Alone", before signing to Capitol Records Nashville and releasing "Love Don't Live Here". The song, which nearly reached the top due to its breakthrough performance by the group, peaked at #3 on the Hot Country Songs chart in May 2008, served as the first single to the group's self-titled debut album. Certified platinum in the U.S., the album also includes the singles "Lookin' for a Good Time" and "I Run to You", the latter of which became the group's first Number One in July 2009. "Need You Now," was released in mid-2009 and was the first single off the band's new album released in January 2010; it was also the group's second number one single. "American Honey", the second single from Need You Now, was released in January 2010, and became their 4th top 10 single, as well as their third #1 single. "Our Kind of Love", the album's third single, was released in May 2010, and became their fourth consecutive Number One on the Hot Country Songs chart.
