Ingredients
- 3 ripe avocados
- scraped and mashed
- 4 cups of milk
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 vanilla bean
- 2 whole eggs
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
Instructions
- Blend the avocado, lime juice and sugar in an electric blender or food processor of your choice. Add the vanilla ice cream and mango mixture until it soften. Pour the ice cream in a plastic container with cover and freeze in ice cream maker according to manufacturer's directions.

Avocado Bread Recipe
Using avocado as an ingredient for breads can be very unusual. But it is a great twist for all avocado lovers out there!
Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose-flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 -1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup mashed avocado (1 medium avocado)
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- First preheat the oven in about 375 degrees F. Generously grease a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Whisk to blend thoroughly. In a separate bowl, beat together the egg and avocado. Stir in the buttermilk. Add to the dry ingredients and blend well. Stir in the pecans.
- Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 50 minutes to 1 hour or until a wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean.

It calorific content is normally not rich in calories and are eaten for their ability to provide vitamins, minerals and digestive fibrous content. However, avocado owing to its high fat content provides good quantity of calories. A 100 gm of edible portion of the fruit provides about 215 calories.

- 1 teaspoon or less of sugar
- crushed ice
Instructions
- Cut the avocado in cubes (using the shell as the dish, if you like.) Add milk, sugar and crushed ice.
