Big is a 16 episode 2012 South Korean fantasy romantic comedy series broadcast by KBS2 Network, written by Jung Eun, Hong Mi Ran (Hong Sisters) Kim Ye Ri and directed by Ji Byung Hun, Kim Sung Yoon. This drama is about the story of a 30 year old man named Seo Yoon Jae's (played by Gong Yoo) spirit transferred to the body of 18 year old Kang Kung Joon (Shin Won Ho) after a tragic car accident. Seo Yoon Jae is a successful doctor and engaged to high school teacher Gil Da Ran (played by Lee Min Jung). Now the conflict is that Gil Da Ran is torn between the two guys who happens to be secretly brothers.

Gong Yoo who plays the male lead character Seo Yoon Jae, Kang Kyung Joon's older brother and Gil Da Ran's fiancee is a South Korean model and actor. He first lead role was in Biscuit Teacher and Star Candy in 2005. His acting talent caught the attention of casting directors and audiences and he has become an actor to watch. His role as Choi Han-Kyul in the MBC romantic comedy The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince solidified his status as a leading man. The popularity of the drama made it one of Korea's most watched dramas of 2007, and made Gong Yoo a hallyu star. He had a fan meeting in Japan after he finished military service in 2010.
Lee Min Jung who plays the female lead character Gil Da Ran Kang Kyung Joon's high school teacher and Seo Yoon Jae's love interest is a South Korean model and actress. Lee was a late starter in the world of Korean entertainment. After several years doing supporting roles, she became a household name in 2008 through her role as Ha Jae-kyung in the popular teenage series Boys Over Flowers, which then landed her her first leading role in the weekend drama Smile, You. Her romantic comedy Cyrano Agency was the sleeper hit of 2010, and became the breakout film for the actress, who grabbed five best new actress awards in Korea and rose to stardom.
Shin Won-ho who plays Kang Kyung Joon Seo Yoon Jae's long lost younger brother who transfer his spirit to him is a South Korean actor and member of Kpop boyband Cross Gene. He first debuted as an actor in a Bean Pole CF with G-Dragon in August 2011 and later participated in others mentioned below. His success took off when he was cast as Kang Kyung-joon in the Korean drama series, Big which also includes Miss A's Suzy and famous actors Gong Yoo and Lee Min-jung. He debuted as an idol with the boy group, Cross Gene, on June 14, 2012 as the visual and vocalist of the group. He is also known as the "Phresh Gene."
Bae Soo Ji also known as Suzy who plays Jang Mari Kang Kyung Joon's childhood friend is a South Korean model, actress and member of Kpop girl group Miss A. Aside from acting and modeling, she is also host for MBC Show! Music Core alongside Minho and Onew, both from SHINee and Jiyeon from T-ara. Later hosted other shows such as Inkigayo, M! Countdown, M! countdwn Hello Japan, the 21st Seoul Music Awards, 26th Golden Disk Awards with F.T. Island's Hongki, and Mnet 20's Choice Awards along side the actor Song Joong-Ki where she won an award under the category "hot new star of 2011".
Baek Sung-hyun who plays Gil Choong-shik Gil Da Ran's brother is a South Korean actor. He debuted in 1994 film I Wish For What Is Forbidden To Me at the tender age of five years old. Baek became the most promising child actor in the late 90's and as well in his teenage years in mid 2000's. He also starred in numerous Korean dramas like Damo, Emperor of the Sea, Stairway to Heaven, The King and the Clown, The Happy Life, Blades of Blood, Elephant, Accidental Couple, Queen Insoo, Running Goo, White Christmas and Big.
Jang Hee-jin who plays Lee Se-young Seo Yoon-jae's fellow doctor colleague is a South Korean actress. She starred in numerous Korean dramas and movies like Biscuit Teacher and Star Candy, Seoul Murim Jeon, Korean Ghost Stories, Spy Myung Wol, What's Up, Sisily 2km, APT, Marrying the Mafia III, Gangster High, Crazy Waiting, Rough Cut, The Showdown, Our Happy Endings.
